William E. ‘Tiny’ Cowan, 76, of Columbia, died Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11:46 p.m. at Hospice House in Bowling Green.
He was born May 7, 1947 in Adair County to the late Dennis and Ida Irvin Cowan.
Tiny attended Columbia Church of God and retired from the City of Columbia Street Department after more than 30 years.
Survivors include two sisters, Sharon Turner of Columbia and Carolyn Withers of Russell Springs; one brother, J.D. Cowan of Columbia; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday August 9, 2023 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Clifton Bennett officiating and burial in Bearwallow Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Mike Irvin, Everett Wayne Irvin, Marshall Irvin, Marty Irvin, Larry Irvin and Sam Avery.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
