Norma Jean Williams, 59, of Columbia, passed away at her home June 15, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born July 29, 1964 to the late George and Mary Reece in Beattyville.
Norma is survived by her husband of 42 years, Anthony; her two sons, Jordan (Sarai) Williams of Columbia and Joshua Williams of Indianapolis. She was the beloved memaw of Rhett Oliver. Other survivors include a sister, Diane (Gary) Blanton of Owensboro; and a host of other family members.
Norma was witty and passionate about all things. An avid learner, she never met a task she couldn’t complete. Norma spent her life as a devout Christian and instilled the love for Christ in her family. The light of her life was the little boy who called her Memaw and who loved her “this much.” She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with internment at Haven Hill Cemetery.
