Daniel Cameron held such a strong lead in Kentucky’s Republican Pri¬mary for governor Tuesday that the Associated Press declared him the winner before the first precinct in Adair County could even be counted.
Cameron stayed the front-runner as votes in the central time zone were counted and ended the evening with 48 percent of the vote over the other 11 candidates.
